TRADITIONAL SONG FROM OUR REGION - ISTRIA (CROATIA)

The region of Istria is a cultural "melting pot" of different cultures, traditions, folklore and music! From the times of gladiators and roaring crowds having fun in the Roman Arena, to the Venetian-style living passing to the Habsburg empire, italian and, nowadays, croatian living style. Two colours represent our peninsula: the blue and the green, and one animal, the istrian goat, can be found on our region's flag.

If you choose the blue sky and sea, you will hear the music that accompains the fishermen works; if you go the green, the mountains of istrian interior and its folk will change very very quick! :-) We choose a "green" route, with the traditional song about a man named Tone and his darling, Tonina.
